5 out of 5 stars Solid overview of piloting fundamentals   January 15, 2007

This book does a good job of detailing all the technical details of why an airplane has to work the way it does. It tells the reader about the environment that the aircraft operates in, and explains how interactions with that environment affect the flying characteristics of the machine.
